Koo is a microblogging site any other like Twitter or quora. The only thing to emphasize its origin i.e INDIA. People here can share Personal Updates and Opinions on this sharing micro-blogging platform. Sounds similar to Twitter? Not only sounds but it is!
In addition, People on koo app can discuss interesting and trendy topics. This usually empowers citizens’ right to speech and provides a broader platform to push your point on an issue to a national or even to a global level. Switch To Koo App – Atmnirbhar Bharat
In the wake of recent incidents, we have seen how the Indian market was dependent on other countries. And under the guidance of Shri Narendra Modi Ji government of India launched aatmnirbhar program, a way to make India independent.
Moreover, after some Chinese apps found breaching our nation’s security and in regards to privacy concerns too, India recently kicked out most Chinese apps including TikTok, PUBG Mobile, etc.
This has encouraged many of the Indian app developers and entrepreneurs to come forward and build alternatives to foreign apps which spikes aatmnirbhar Bharat program.
In the same vein, Aprameya Radhakrishna and his team came up with the Koo app – an Indian alternative to Twitter.
In addition, to attract the Indians, the app developers focused on multiple language platforms multiple Indian regional languages, including

Most importantly, Just like Twitter, Koo users can share short posts that can include up to 400 characters. Also, users can also share, audio messages, videos, photos, and links.
Does this really support the vision?
We the Indians must have to realize that rather than making India copy cat the foreign products, we should start focusing on creativity and inventions. As greatly said by a diplomat ” India should focus on Invent and make in India“.
Besides the fact that the Indian government focusing and trying to globalize the Indian startups but the fact being “India can become a superpower but we can’t hold for most of the world’s and humanity growth”. We may produce CEOs and many talents but we have no one to compare with Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos and the long list goes on!
Also, Speaking of Jeff Bezos .. let me remind you “how Flipkart founded”. The Flipkart owners were workers at amazon and as they come to India they decided to build a local eCommerce platform for the Indian market ( feel the level of creativity).
They started making Flipkart and the worst part ends up as they scale it on the basis of an eCommerce store for books ( the same way how amazon scaled their business). Now the point being “Are they able to even set amazon as a benchmark” A BIG NO!!
whether it’s the launch of FAUG, Zomato, or any other big Indian brands (not all) they have similar stories! … we may ban TikTok and found its alternative but that’s not the way we can make TikTok die! the only way is through passion, creativity, and innovation.
And on the principles of Creativity and Innovation, no one can stop India from Being a superpower… So let’s hope for INNOVATIVE INDIA
